Hang this oversized (22”) moving hoop from a basket, rafter, tree limb, or any overhead support, and let the fun begin. Hang it low to allow your young students instant success, or pull the support rope and set it high over the gym to create the most challenging hoop ever. Hold it just over the heads of your students and let them experience their first “slam dunk”! Just don`t allow them to hang on it. Play a game of PinataBall by pulling the end of the support rope randomly in an attempt to keep students from making a shot. The hoop dances around wildly while students try to judge where it might end up and make the shot. This a great activity for teaching the skills associated with leading a moving target.
